Ingredients:
- 4 hilsha fish/basa/bhetki
- 1 1/2 tbs black mustard paste
- 100 gms yoghurt
- 1/3 teaspoon turmeric
- 4-5 green chillies slit
- 2 tbs green chilli paste
- 1 tbs cashew nut paste
- 4 tbs mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Lemon zest
- Diced lemon
Procedure:
- Allow some water to boil
- Mix all the ingredients
- Place the fish in a bowl
- Pour over the mixture over the fish
- Sprinkle lemon zest
- Place diced lemon
- Place sliced lemon
- Place slit green chilli
- Drizzle mustard oil from top
- Cover it with aluminium foil
- Place it over boiling water
- Lid it on
- Simmer it for 20 minutes
Serve hot with steamed rice
