Ingredients:
- 1 cup aromatic small grained rice
- 1 cup yellow pulse
- 1 large potato diced
- 1 tbs ginger paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin whole
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- 1 large tomato
- 2 green chilli
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Enough grated cheese 🙂
Procedure:
- Lightly fry yellow pulse until aroma comes out
- Pressure cook yellow pulse and rice with 2 whistels
- In pan add oil fry potatoes until golden brown
- Take them out
- Add more oil
- Add cumin,fennel until aroma comes out
- Add tomato until soften
- Add the pressure cooked rice and dal
- Add potatoes
- Add some water until everything is cooked
- Add salt to taste
- Add some sugar for balanced taste
- Grate lots of cheese
Serve hot with french fries
