Sweet cheese dumplings/ Rosomalai

Ingredients:

  • 100 gms very well mashed cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 litre milk
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 tbs cashew paste

Procedure:

  • Mash the cottage cheese for 3-5  minutes,add 1 teaspoon sugar,flour,cardamom powder
  • Divide into balls
  • In pressure cooker add sugar,water bring to boil
  • Add the balls
  • Lid it on
  • Bring  2 whistels
  • Turn off the heat
  • Don’t open for 1 hour
  • Then take out the spongy dumplings
  • Keep aside
  • In another pan add 1 litre milk
  • Bring to boil,reduce the milk to 1/3
  • Add cashew paste
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • Now turn off the heat
  • Add the dumplings

Serve it cool,you can add pista,saffron of your choice
