Ingredients:
- 500 gms bite size chicken with or without bones your choice
- 2 large onion chopped
- 1 small capsicum chopped
- 7-8 cloves of garlic chopped
- 5-6 cloves of garlic paste
- 1/2 inch ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 5-6 chopped green chilli
- Salt to taste
- 4-5 tbs freshly crushed pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1:1 ratio cornflour and flour to make the batter sticky
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbs red chilli paste
Procedure:
- Marinate the chicken with buttermilk,salt,lemon zest,pepper,garlic paste,grated ginger
- Keep aside for 2 hours
- Drain the excess buttermilk
- Add egg,flour,cornflour,red chilli paste
- Keep aside for 20 minutes
- Deep fry the chicken
- In another pan add oil,add chopped cloves of garlic
- Onion,capsicum,chillies
- Add the fried chicken
- Toss at high flame with salt and pepper
If you want you can use ajina moto but it is optional.
