Ingredients:
- 3 large potatoes diced
- 1 large/2 small onions chopped
- 7-8 cloves of garlic paste
- 1 inch ginger grated
- 2 tbs spice masala ( 1 teaspoon onion seeds,1 teaspoon fenugreek seed,1 teaspoon fennel seed,1 teaspoon mustard seed,1 teaspoon coriander seeds,1 teaspoon cumin seeds,2 whole dry red chilli roasted and grounded)
- 3 curry leaves
- 4 slit green chillies to make it spicy
- Salt to taste
- Pich of sugar
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Procedure:
- Fry the potatoes until brown
- In that oil fry the curry leaves then fry the onions,tomato,ginger and fry until aroma comes out
- Add in the spice mix,turmeric,red chilli,salt and sugar
- Move your laddle until oil seperates
- Add the fried potatoes
- Mix them properly
- Add some water if needed
- Cook until potatoes are soft
- Add the green chillies lid it on
Serve with puffed bread
