Ingredients:
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup salt
- 2-3 tbs oregano
- 2 tbs sesame oil
Procedure:
- Boil water
- Immerse the tomatoes for 3 minutes
- Then take out the tomatoes
- Immerse in ice cold water for 5 minutes when the skin shrinks
- Now scoop out all the seeds
- Make fine paste of the tomatoes
- In pan add the oil
- Add the oregano
- Add the tomato puree
- Add salt and sugar
- Stir until a thick consistency is reached
- Laddle it in a sterilised glass jar
