Paneer(cottage cheese) butter masala

Ingredients:

  • 200gms paneer
  • 20gms cashew nut made into fine paste
  • 10gms kissmiss made into paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek powder
  • 1 tbs coriander powder
  • 1 tbs cumin powder
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp shahi garam masala
  • 1/2 cup butter

Procedure:

  • Fry the diced paneer
  • Keep aside
  • Add oil to the pan
  • Add some butter to it
  • Add onion fry them until transparent
  • Add ginger garlic paste,tomato chopped until cooked soft
  • Add all the spices
  • Add cashew paste and kissmiss paste
  • Cook till oil seperates
  • Add the beaten yoghurt
  • Add the paneer 
  • Mix them properly with the gravy
  • Add the remaing butter
  • Add the shahi garam masala
  • Cover with lid

Serve hot with parathas,jeera rice,pulav

Paneer or Cottage cheese can be substituted with tofu
