The snowman cake

Hi readers,

Recently we all enjoyed Christmas with our families and indulged ourselves in cake eating and cake baking. I personally always love to bake items at home until and unless it’s a rocket science🤓🤓🤓

Last time Christmas,you may see,I made a chocolate walnut cake, if haven’t please go through my blog Chocolate Walnut Cake. This time I have made a half n half chocolate and vanilla cake with butter cream frosting with some nice and easy decorations which can easily win the hearts of little ones.


  • 200 gm flour
  • 250 gm +100 gm butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 gm castor sugar
  • 100 gm powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 80 gm cooking chocolate
  • 2 tbs coco powder
  • 4 tbs sugar solution
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 marshmallows
  • 4 tbs cool whip or whipping cream


  • Preheat the oven at 365F
  • In a bowl seive in flour, baking powder
  • In another bowl creme the 200 gm castor sugar and 250 gm butter
  • Add in eggs one by one
  • Add the vanilla essence
  • Now divide the mixture in two equal halves
  • In one mix melted chocolate and coco powder
  • Take two 6 inch cake tin and now in one add vanilla cake and in another add chocolate cake mixture
  • Bake it for 30-35 minutes
  • Cool the cakes for at least 2 hours

For frosting:

  • Beat 100 gm butter until creamy
  • Add 100 gm powdered sugar
  • Add 2 drops of vanilla essence
  • Mix the cool whip


  • Cut each cake into two halves
  • Feed the cake some sugar syrup so that it can become more moist
  • Now spread the frosting
  • Layer the cake alternately one vanilla cake layer and then chocolate layer
  • Now take 1 toothpick and plave one by one 3 marshmallows make two hands by halving one toothpick and draw eyes and nose with chocolate sauce.
  • I used two colors green and red to give that Christmas green and red touch.
  • I used raspberries for making it look more vibrant
