Cheese cake with chocolate sauce

This is a cheese cake which I made when there was no cream cheese in my Home.But I found some fresh curd or yoghurt in my fridge.


  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 cup finely ground cottage cheese
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 7-8 digestive biscuits
  • 2 1/2 tbs soft butter
  • 7-8tbs chocolate sauce for spreading
  • Milk if required


  • Grind the biscuits
  • Mix them with softened butter until moist sandy texture is reached
  • Take a springform pan
  • Grease it with butter
  • Now press the buscuit mixture at the base
  • Refrigerate it for 15 minutes until set
  • In a bowl take the sugar,curd,cottage cheese
  • Beat it with electric beater and add little bit milk if required to reach silky and creamy texture
  • Slowly pour over the biacuit mixture
  • Pat it 2-3 times so that no air bubbles remain
  • Refrigerate it for 1-2 hrs until set
  • Take it from the pan
  • Drizzle chocolate sauce over the cheesecake

P.s: Don’t freeze it
