The bunny cake🐰

As promised day before yesterday, I’m sharing the recipe of the special Bunny cake that I prepared on my son’s first birthday. I made a double flavored cake of vanilla and chocolate.

So let’s see the recipe below👇

Type : Cake

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Baking Time: 35-40 minutes

Frosting time: 45 minutes

Serve: 10

Ingredients:

  • 7 large eggs
  • 200 gm all purpose flour
  • 160 gm castor sugar
  • 200 softened butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 150 gm melted chocolate
  • 6 inch baking tray
  • 9 inch baking tray

Procedure:

  • Preheat the oven to 365° F
  • In a big bowl add all sugar and the softened butter
  • Creme them until fluffy
  • Now add eggs one by one and beat it
  • Add the vanilla essence to it
  • Now seive all the dry ingredients to it
  • In a microwave melt together the chocolates and 2 tbs butter
  • Now pour half the vanilla batter in a 6″ baking dish
  • Add melted chocolate to the other half batter
  • Whisk it properly
  • Pour it to a 9″ baking tin
  • Now bake them for 35-40 until the centre comes clean when a skewer is inserted
  • Allow them to cool it for at least 2 hours

For frosting:

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm softened butter
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • Melted chocolate
  • Rainbow sprinkler
  • A bottle mixed with 1 tbdls honey 2 tbs water
  • Pink food color
  • A small ball of fondant
  • Black food color

Procedure:

  • Take out the 2 cakes in a flat tray
  • Half the vanilla cake into 2 halves
  • Take the chocolate cake and cut as shown in the video below so that you can get 2 ears and bow
  • Now cut them also into halves
  • On each halves add the honey and water mixture because it will keep it moist
  • Divide the frosting into 3 parts
  • Keep one plain cream cheese, add melted chocolate to another and add pink food color to the last one
  • Now layer the vanilla cake with white cream cheese frosting
  • And now spread the chocolate frosting to the ears and the bow
  • Now assemble the cake into the bunny shape
  • Now add white cream cheese Frosting to the face and the chocolate frosting to the ears and the bow
  • Take the pink frosting to make sweet smile and the inner ears
  • Take chocolate coated almond to make the snuggly nose
  • Take a spaghetti and break it into 4 parts and dip them in chocolate sauce to make whiskers
  • Roll out the fondant and cut in the shape of eyes and color it nleck to get that eye feeling
  • Now your bunny is ready to hop
