Pan fried chicken

Making restaurant style appetiser is very easy with this recipe, I am sharing today. The best part of this recipe is you can try this recipe with mushrooms,cottage cheese/paneer or just cauliflower

I made it with chicken. It is such an item with which you can create some magic and surprise your buds.This is a very delicious recipe which can be made with less effort and minimum ingredients.


  • 800 gms chicken with or without bone
  • 1 capsicum diced
  • 3 onions cubed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Coursely grounded black pepper as required
  • Cornflour as required
  • 3 tbs green chilli paste
  • 1 tbs garlic paste
  • 7-8 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic bruised
  • 1 inch ginger roughly chopped
  • 2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tbs red chilli garlic sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs soya sauce
  • 3 tbs chopped green chillies
  • 4 green chillies diagonally cut

Procedure :

  • Marinate the chicken with egg,bruised garlic,salt,ginger,black pepper,1 tbs green chilli paste
  • Keep aside for 1 hour
  • Take a pan add chopped garlic,chopped onion,chopped green chillies,remaining ginger chopped
  • Saute it and add all the sauces
  • Stir it
  • When thickened add bit water to give a saucy texture
  • Add required salt,sugar and allow it to simmer until again thickened
  • Allow it to cool
  • Now take the marinated chicken add cornflour to give a sticky texture
  • Deep fry the chicken
  • In another pan saute the onions and diced capsicum with salt and pepper,diagonally cut green chillies
  • Now in the saucy pan assemble all the chicken and fried onion and capsicum
  • Heat on
  • Toss all the chicken and the veggies

Enjoy this recipe as a filling for taco with lettuce or for a burrito or you can use as a side dish with fried rice, chowmein/Lo Mein or you can have it “just like that”.
