Chapli kebab recipe||a mouth melting kebab recipe(a step by step recipe)

Chapli kebab is a minced kebab made mainly out of chicken and mutton. It is a name given after lady’s slipper as it looks like that flatten shape. It is a simple and tasty stove top recipe.

Let’s see the recipe below


  • 2 lbs minced chicken thighs
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tbs chopped ginger and garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion (leaves and greens separated)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 eggs scrambled
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs chopped green chillies
  • 1 cup chopped coriander
  • 4 tbs kebab masala ( Roast-whole cumin, whole coriander,3 whole red chillies,4 cinnamon stick, 6 cardamon, 8-10 whole black pepper and now grind it)
  • 5 tbs clarified butter


  • Mix all the ingredients together
  • Now again grind the mixture again together
  • Marinate and keep it for at least for 4 hours
  • For better result keep it overnight
  • Now make small balls out of it and flatten it in between the palms
  • Add oil to the pan and shallow fry it
