Mac ‘n’ Cheese topped with crispy bacon|| a perfect dish for every mood

If you are looking for the classic mac n cheese recipe that your grand ma used to make it, then this is the perfect recipe.

You will just need 15 minutes and 2 pans to cook no more special skills or aplliances. It is such a delicious dish that it is requested by both kids and adult.

This rich,creamy mac n cheese is really a show stopper.

Type: Pasta

Cooking time : 15 minutes

Serve: 4

Ingredients:

  • 150 gm elbow pasta
  • 80 gm diced chicken
  • 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2-3 bacon (I took apple wood smoked one)
  • Cheese (limit is upto you😜)

Procedure:

  • Boil the pasta and keep aside
  • In a pan sear the bacon until brown and crisp
  • In that bacon fat, add chilli flakes
  • Add tomato sauce
  • Sauté them
  • Add the chicken and mix well
  • Add the pasta
  • Add some salt and mix together
  • Keep the pasta aside
  • In a fresh pan add butter
  • Add the flour and fry them
  • Now add milk
  • And whisk properly to get that thick saucy texture
  • Now add the cheese
  • In that cheesy white sauce add the pasta
  • Blend them well
  • Now take required punt of pasta in a bowl, top it up with some more cheese
  • Microwave it for 2 minute to get that gooey texture
  • Garnish with the flavored bacon

Tips:

You can make your flavoured tomato sauce

  1. In a pan add some garlic and basil
  2. Sauté them
  3. When aroma comes add 2 cups tomato sauce
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes

This will give flavour to your pasta
