Chicken pakora/Fried chicken fritters||Crispy and crunchy||Restaurant style

Pakora- is a classic, all time favourite snack in India.These pakoras can be veg or non veg.It is a popular snack across the Indian subcontinent; it is served in restaurants and sold by street vendors.

Chicken pakoras are delicious, crunchy and addictive snack that are ready in just 20-25 minutes. They are not only flavor packed but equally tender and juicy.

This pakoras are so tasty that it does not need any accompaniment. But you can enjoy it with some Chai or tea. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it which make it more tasty.
Chicken Pakora is a simple recipe where it is mixed with some spices and flour and deep fried in oil, which are perfect to enjoy in a bachelor party or a gathering with friends or kitty parties or during evenings…

Type: Appetiser

Preparation time: 15-20 minutes

Cooking time: 20-25 minutes


  • 2lb chicken or nearly 900 gms of boneless chicken thighs cut into cubes
  • Add 1 tbs garam masala
  • 2 tbs cumin powder
  • 2 tbs coriander powder
  • 2 tbs red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbs crushed black pepper
  • 1 whole lime juice
  • 1/4 th cup white oil
  • 1/2 cup beaten yoghurt
  • 1/4 th cup cornflour
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 large egg


  • In a bowl take the chicken
  • Add all the spices except the egg, cornflour and rice flour
  • Marinate the chicken for at least 1/2 an hour and for best result overnight
  • Now take out marinated chicken
  • Let it come to room temperature
  • Now add the cornflour and rice flour
  • Mix them well
  • Add the egg and again mix it
  • Leave it for 10 minutes
  • Now deep fry the pakora until golden brown
