This recipe makes flavorful chicken or turkey croquettes that are crisp on the outside but moist on the inside.
This is such kind of recipe which you can make with left over chicken also, specially if it is a rotisserie chicken.
But I make it fresh from scratch. I keep the croquettes moist from inside by adding some gooey cheese to it,and who doesn’t like cheese where it bursts into the mouth while biting into crunchy chicken croquettes.
It is a hit item when I welcome my guests with this kind of appetisers. It also doesn’t needs much effort that needs to be mentioned…..

Preparation time : 20-25 minutes
Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Serve: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken minced into fine paste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbs chopped green chillies
- Salt to tast
- 3 tbs chopped coriander leaves
- 3 tbs chopped white onion
- 1 cup grated cheese of your choice
- 2 tbs chopped spring onions
- 2 tbs freshly crushed black pepper
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs beaten
- Oil to fry
Procedure:
- In a bowl add the minced chicken
- Add all the in a bowl except–the cheese, breadcrumbs and eggs
- Now grease your palms
- Take a small handful of chicken mince and flatten it on your palm
- Take certain amount of cheese and place it on the middle of the flatten chicken mince
- Now roll the chicken mince
- Roll it over the breadcrumbs
- Dip into the beaten egg
- Again coat it with the breadcrumbs
- Repeat the process to make it crunchy and by this way it will retain its shape also
- Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours
- Take them out
- And allow to sit for at 10-15 minutes
- Now deep fry them until golden brown
- Take them on a kitchen tissue to avoid excess oil
- Your cheese filled chicken croquettes are ready to serve
