Caramel Pudding🍮( caramel flan)

Caramel pudding is a caramel flan steamed with a milk based item which is served as a dessert.

We had it as our dessert last night after a heavy meal. You can make it with or without the oven. I have made it without the oven and have shared this recipe below.

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 glass of milk reduced to 1 glass
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

For the caramel:

  • 6 tbs sugar
  • 3 tbs water

Procedure for the caramel:

  • Add the sugar and the water together in a pan
  • Cook it in a medium flame
  • When to see the bubbles, swirl your pan and take care they the bottom doesn’t burn
  • Now when you see that bubbles are changing to a brownish color, then put off the flame
  • Pour into that bowl in which you will make rest of the pudding
  • Now swirl your bowl so that the caramel evenly spreads at the bottom
