Samosas are popular Indian snack generally enjoy in he evening with some hot tea.Usually samosas are shaped as triangles but this time we made it a Ring shaped.

You can make them before hand and freeze them,and enjoy them accordingly. It is a very easy recipe.
It has the crispness on the outside and spicy potato stuffed inside,both creates a great combo in your mouth.Okkkk,now without hitting any bush let us jump into the recipe👇
Type- Appetizer,snack
Preparation time- 25-30 minutes
Cooking time- 5-10 minutes
Spice level- mild
Ingredients for the dough:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbs oil
- Water as required for kneading (we needed around 1 cup)
Procedure for the dough:
- In a bowl add 2 cups of all purpose flour and 1/2 tsp salt and 4 tbs oil
- Mix evenly
- Add water and start kneading
- Knead a semi soft dough
- Cover and rest it for 30 minutes
- In between let us make the spicy potato stuffing
Ingredients for the stuffing:
- 1/2 lb boiled and roughly mashed potatoes
- 1 cup sweet corn and peas (blanched)
- 1 tbs chopped garlic
- 1 tbs chopped ginger
- 1 tbs chopped green chillies ( adjust heat according to your palate)
- 1/4 th cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black salt
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbs oil
- Salt to taste
Procedure for the stuffing:
- In a pan add 2 tbs oil
- Add the chopped garlic,ginger and green chillies
- Now add the blanched peas and sweet corn
- Fry well and all the spices and mix
- If you feel it might get burnt add 2 tsp water
- After mixing at this point add the roughly mashed potatoes
- And smash and mash them with all the other ingredients
- Add salt to taste
- Add the chopped coriander leaves
- And mix well and its done
- Cool it down
Assembling the RING SAMOSAS:
- Take out small roundels from the dough
- Roll it out thin
- Now add the stuffing on one side of the rolled out sheet,keeping space so that you can give a single fold
- Roll once and cut the remaining part on the right side
- From the left to right start cutting from top to bottom but not throughout
- Fold now throughout and bent to form a ring
- Use slurry to stick them together
- Repeat with the remaining dough
- And they are ready to fry
- Fry in a medium flame until crisp and golden
- Serve them with your favorite chutney or sauce

- How can you freeze it?
After making the stuffed potato doughs,keep them an one inch distance from each other and freeze for 15 minutes,then you can put them all together in a Ziploc bag.You can then enjoy whenever you like😊
