Kung Pao Chicken Noodles|| Easy step by step recipe to perfect noodles|| perfect for party ideas

Kung Pao is a special dish,we generally order when we visit a Chinese restaurant.

But what is Kung Pao actually???

Kung Pao,is also transcribed a s Gong Bao or Kung Pao, is a spicy,stir fried Chinese dish made with chicken cubes, peanuts, vegetables and red chilli peppers. The classic dish is Sichuan Cuisine and includes fine Sichuan peppercorns.

We generally enjoy eating Kung Pao Chicken but today I’m creating a twist by making Kung Pao Chicken Noodles.

So,let’s get started with our special dish…in my style Kung Pao Chicken Noodles ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

Type- Noodles,snacks

Preparation time- 12-15 minutes

Cooking time- 20-25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm boiled noodles
  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 tbs cornflour+2 tbs soya sauce for marination
  • 1/3rd cup peanuts
  • 2 whole red chillies (you can use more or less it’s upto you)
  • 1 tbs heaped chopped garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 tbs chilli garlic sauce
  • 2 tbs tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbs soya sauce
  • 2 tbs cornflour+2 tbs water for slurry
  • For veggies- 1/2 cup mushrooms+1/2 cup diced onion+1/2 cup chopped Capsicum+1/3rd cup roughly cut stems of spring onions
  • Chopped spring onions for garnishing

Procedure:

  • Marinate the chicken with 2 tbs cornflour+2 tbs soya sauce and keep for 15 minutes
  • In a pan fry 1/3 rd cup peanuts until golden brown
  • Keep them aside
  • In that pan add 1 tbs chopped garlic and 1/3 rd cup chopped white bulb of spring onions
  • Fry till aroma comes and now add the marinated chicken and fry
  • When the chicken is fried keep in adding your veggies,first add the sliced mushrooms
  • Fry the mushroom till soft
  • Always remember,cooking Chinese means flame should be high,so be ready with all the ingredients
  • Now add the capsicum….fry and add the onions and keep on frying
  • After 3-5 minutes on high heat,add 2 tbs chilli garlic sauce and 1 tbs soya sauce
  • Keep on cooking,add salt to taste and remember that you’ve already added soya sauce in it
  • When your sauce and veggies will start leaving oil add the slurry
  • Keep on cooking until the saucy mixture thickens and at this point add 200 gm boiled noodles and mix
  • Add crushed black peppercorns and mix
  • Add some chopped spring onions and toss again
  • Our Kung Pao Chicken Noodles is ready
