Hariyali Chicken Kebab|| Ideal for parties|| very popular Indian appetizer

Hariyali Chicken Kebabs is a very popular Indian appetizer.

It’s is simply marinated in yoghurt,spices and the green paste of mint and coriander.

There are mainly 3 types of Kebabs,

1) Chicken Tikka Kebab

2) Chicken Reshmi Kebab

3) Chicken Hariyali Kebab

This Hariyali kebab is the simplest one.

Believe me,these Kebabs may sound fancy but making these at home is the most easy. Making Tandoori item at home doesn’t need to have Tandoor at home. It can be made with tawa or griddle or you can make it easily at home in the oven.

Type- Appetizer

Preparation time- 15-20 minutes

Cooking time- 25-30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs or 1 kg boneless chicken weighing around 70-80gm
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 sprig of mint leaves
  • 1 sprig of coriander leaves
  • 7-8 green chillies
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 3 tbs chopped garlic
  • 4 tbs yoghurt
  • 3-4 gramflour or besan
  • 1 tbs kasauri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 1.5 tbs garam masala
  • 2 tbs mustard oil
  • 2 tbs mayonnaise

Procedure:

  • In a blender ,blend 1 sprig of mint leaves,1 sprig of coriander leaves,3 tbs chopped garlic and 1 inch ginger,7-8 green chillies and 2-3 tbs of water
  • In another bowl add 4 tbs yoghurt,1 tbs garam masala,our green blended mixture,salt to taste,juice of 1 lime and whisk
  • Then add 2 tbs mustard oil and 3 tbs gramflour or besan and again whisk
  • Add 1 tbs kasauri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • And whisk,to it add our boneless chicken pieces
  • Marinate for 1-2 hours or overnight for best result
  • Then take deep dish pan and fill it 1/4tu with water
  • Place another wire baking tray and cover with aluminum foil
  • Pinch with fork,get ready d if the water chicken will release
  • Preheat the oven to 400F and the baje the chicken for 8 minutes on one side
  • Again take it out flip and again bake for another 8 minutes
  • Now change the mode to grill
  • Bast the chicken with butter and grill for 3-5 minutes on HI /high
  • Again take it out,flip bast with butter and grill for another 3-5 minutes
