Microwave khichuri|| Quick and easy|| Less oil -more healthy

Khichuri/ Indian style risotto is all time comfort food to me and a customary cook during Bengali festivals. This humble dish is a staple in most households in India and every time I make it, I am transported back to Kolkata, where I had this dish a lot while growing up.

Khichuri/khichdi or Indian style risotto is one of those rare dishes that effortlessly strides the boundary between what’s considered ‘ordinary’ and ‘special’ when it comes to cooking.

It ranges from the mild, runn

  1. Thanks for reading it so thoroughly and notifying me, actually it’s was a mistake because I’ve added only 3 tbs oil in the beginning if you see my YouTube channel, and finally added only 1 tbs ghee.
Again thanks for showing my mistake👍

  2. So less oil (3-4 tbs genorous drizzle of clarified butter or ghee….again 3tbs oil….again “You can add 1 tbs ghee or clarified butter and our microwave khichuri/khichri is ready”)
