Climbing perch curry with cauliflower and potatoes/ koi machher jhol with alu and phoolkopi

Ingredients:

  • 5 climbing perch or Koi machh
  • 1 medium sized potato cut into slices
  • 7-8 florets of cauliflower
  • 12-15 lentil dumplings
  • 1 large tomato or 2 small tomatoes chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 crushed green cardamom and 1/4 inch cinnamon stick crushed
  • 1 tbs ginger paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3-4 slit green chillies
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
